A second year teaching student passionate about health & wellness. I’m on a mission to share tools and tricks to children and families on how to create and maintain healthy habits inside and outside the classroom.

With 7 years of experience working as an Early Childhood Educator, I am excited to venture off onto this new chapter working in Elementary and Middle Schools. As an educator I became very passionate about health & wellness and teaching children at a young age how to create healthy habits in their lives that would benefit them in the future. A piece of wellness that I focus on a lot in my own personal life but especially as an educator and future teacher is teaching children about emotional regulation. This can be something as small as asking a child to point to a colour that best resonates with how they are feeling and from their have a conversation on what tools or things we can do to help ourselves when we feel that “colour”. Another piece of wellness that I like to incorporate into my own daily practices and would like to include in my teachings is yoga and various breath work practices. Movement is so important to all human’s and breath work can help immensely with regulation. These practices when shared at a young age can help foster healthier, more balanced lives for individuals.

In my personal life I love to travel and explore new places & cuisines. I also am a huge animal lover, I have a dog and cat of my own and am always looking for ways to help animals in need!
